What Gong does
Who it’s for: sales leadership and sales teams that follow many deals at once and want to reread what customers really say.
Ask Anything: query a deal, an account or a contact
You ask a question in plain language. For a deal or an account, answers draw on at most 60 calls and 500 emails in the chosen period. For a contact, on their last 10 calls and last 80 emails. The feature requires a paid license and does not take into account fields synced from the customer file.
Deal boards
Each board shows current deals with their stage, amount, expected signing date and owner. It is available with the Forecast Essentials and Gong Forecast offers.
AI Deal Monitor: the alerts
The agent spots activity, or lack of activity, that puts a deal at risk. The “Warnings” column of the board details the alert and suggests ways to respond.

Nova’s advice
Ask for the proposal with the exact number of salespeople concerned, and test first on a pilot team. Check which features are in your license type: Ask Anything requires a paid license, deal boards require a Forecast offer.
A first try, in 15 minutes
Your data. We could not read a Gong privacy page: the platform page only speaks of enterprise-grade security and compliance.
What it does less well
No public price, no free trial: everything goes through a sales proposal.
Ask Anything reads only recorded conversations and emails. An exchange that was not recorded does not exist for it.
Query a deal you knowGong
Open Revenue, then Deals, and click a deal to open its panel.
Click the “Ask Anything” icon and choose the scope (the deal or the account) and the period.
Ask the question below.
Compare the answer with what you know about the deal.
Note what the answer missed: most often, an exchange that was not recorded.
The prompt to copy
What is blocking this deal today? Who was mentioned on the customer’s side, what was promised, and what is the agreed next step? If the information was not said in the calls or emails, write “not discussed”.
Per-user license: on quote. Prices checked on October 20, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
