“Split Chat”: compare answers
You open several panes, each with a different model. What you type goes to every pane, and the answers appear side by side.
Msty Studio is a desktop app that brings AI models installed on your machine and online AI models together in one place. What sets it apart: you ask several models the same question at once and compare the answers side by side. Your conversations stay stored on your computer.
Msty has a free plan. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
Who it’s for: curious people who want to compare several AI models, local or online, and who don’t mind an app with a lot of settings.

Msty installs and runs AI models on your computer. Once the model is downloaded, the conversation works without internet.
You connect online services by pasting an API key you get from them. You pay those services by usage, and your text then goes to their servers.

The desktop app with its main features: local and online models, “Split Chat,” personas, “Knowledge Stacks.” But the free license is for personal use only, not for work.
For personal use, the free version is enough. At work, the vendor requires an Aurum or Enterprise license. If you only want a free local model for the office, look at Jan, Ollama, or LM Studio instead. Msty is worth its price if comparing several models is part of your daily routine.
