folk is business software: a shared customer database (a “CRM”) for small teams. You keep your contacts, your conversations, and your open deals in it. The AI does the thankless work: it completes records, summarizes the latest exchanges with a customer, spots conversations left unanswered, and drafts the follow-up.
folk has no free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Standard, $24 per user per month, billed yearly. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.

What folk does
Who it’s for: small teams that sell through relationships: salespeople, founders, agencies, consulting firms, recruiters, fundraising.
Add a contact from LinkedIn or Gmail in one click
The folkX extension adds the person on your screen, or a whole list of results, to your database. It works on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Gmail, WhatsApp, Google Meet, X, Instagram, and most web pages.
Find a contact’s email and phone number
You check some contacts and folk queries several business directories in turn to find the email address, phone number, job title, and company. folk reports a success rate of 50 to 60%: a search that fails is credited back to you.
Columns the AI fills in for you
You create a column and write a prompt. folk fills it in for each contact, using the record, your notes, and your exchanges. It can also search the web. Useful for cleaning, sorting, or qualifying a list.
Also

Nova’s advice
There is no free plan: use the 14-day trial to import your real contacts and test the follow-ups. After that, Standard is enough for most small teams. Move to Premium only if you need to track deals with amounts, chain several emails automatically, or use dashboards.

Add a prospect from LinkedIn and let folk complete the recordfolk
In folk, create a “Prospects” group from the sidebar.
In Chrome, open the LinkedIn profile of someone you want to contact. Click the folkX icon in the browser toolbar, then add the person to the “Prospects” group.
Go back to folk. Check the contact’s row, then click “Enrich” in the action bar: folk looks for their work email address. A small star marks each field it found.
In the table, click the + at the top of the columns to add a field. Turn on “Fill with AI” and paste the prompt below.
Watch the column fill in. Fix by hand whatever is wrong: you always have the last word.
