Attio is business software: a shared customer database (a “CRM”) that each team shapes its own way. It fills itself in from your emails and your calendar. The AI, called “Ask Attio,” answers your questions about your customers, prepares your meetings, drafts your follow-ups, and updates records, always with your approval.
Attio has a free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Free, $0. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.

What Attio does
Who it’s for: young companies and sales teams that want a modern customer database, without spending their evenings on data entry.
Ask Attio: ask your customer database a question
You write a question in everyday language. Ask Attio searches your records, emails, calendar, notes, and recorded calls, then answers. It can also add a web search and run calculations across all your data.
Update records just by asking
Ask Attio creates or edits a record, a task, or a note, and drafts an email. It first shows you what it plans to do. Nothing changes until you click “Create,” “Update,” or “Send.”
Columns filled in by AI
You add a column and turn on AI fill. Four options: summarize the record, sort it into a category, answer a prompt of your choice, or look up the information on the web.

What the free plan includes
A real customer database for up to 3 people: 50,000 records, email and calendar sync, 3 reports. On the AI side: 100 credits per user per month for Ask Attio, plus 250 shared credits. A question costs 10 to 80 credits: that makes a few questions per month.
Nova’s advice
Start with the free plan: it is enough to organize your contacts and test Ask Attio on a few questions. Move to Plus when you run short of credits or when the team grows past 3 people. Pro only makes sense if you want to record your meetings or schedule email sequences.
A first try, in 5 minutes
Your data. Attio trains no AI on your data and forbids its providers from doing so, but your questions go through Google, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
What it does less well
The interface and help are in English only.
Credits go fast. A question to Ask Attio costs 10 to 80 credits, and the free plan gives 100 per user per month. When they are all used up, Ask Attio stops until the next month.
Have Ask Attio prepare your next meetingAttio
Check that your email and calendar are connected: without them, Ask Attio sees neither your emails nor your meetings.
Open the “Home” page. A chat area appears in the middle of the screen.
Paste the prompt below, then submit. Ask Attio goes through your records, emails, and notes.
Read the answer. Every piece of information comes from your own workspace: open the record it cites to check.
Then ask: “Create a task to follow up with this customer on Friday.” Nothing is created until you click “Create.”
The prompt to copy
Prepare me for my next meeting with a customer. Remind me who the attendees are, what we said last time, and what was left open. End with three questions to ask.
Free: $0; Plus: $35 per user per month, billed yearly; Pro: $79 per user per month, billed yearly; Enterprise: custom pricing, billed yearly. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
