Genspark pricing, use cases, and first steps

Genspark is an assistant that doesn’t just answer: it executes. You describe what you want, such as a presentation, a comparison table, or a piece of research. It breaks the work into steps, searches the web, then hands you a finished result that you correct. It can even make a phone call for you. Every task uses credits.

Genspark has a free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Free, $0. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.

What Genspark does

Who it’s for: people who often produce presentations, spreadsheets, and summary memos, and who want to start from a first draft instead of a blank page.

“Super Agent”: hand off an entire task

You describe the result you expect. Genspark breaks the request into steps, chooses its tools, browses the web, and sees the work through. It can produce research, documents, charts, and images. You can attach files up to 500 MB.

“AI Slides”: the complete presentation

From a topic or a document, Genspark builds the outline, then writes and lays out the slides, with charts, timelines, and diagrams. You make corrections by clicking an element. A “Verify content” button checks the numbers by comparing them with sources.

“AI Sheets”: the spreadsheet that fills itself in

You describe the table you want. Genspark fetches the data from the web or from your files, cleans it, runs the calculations, and draws the charts. The result exports as an Excel file, formulas included.

Also

  • “Call For Me”: it makes the phone call for you
  • “AI Meeting Notes”: meeting notes
  • The Chrome extension
  • Genspark in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • “Genspark Claw”: an assistant that never stops

Genspark pricing

Prices published in dollars on the web, reread on October 4, 2026, in Genspark’s help center (its pricing page cannot be read). On the free plan: 100 credits per day, up to a total cap that Genspark does not quantify. Audio, including “AI Pods” podcasts, is always paid in credits, even with a subscription. Apart from the phone call, at 500 credits, Genspark does not publish the cost of a creation. The month’s credits do not carry over. Extra credits you buy remain valid for 90 days. In the European Union, a refund can be requested within 14 days if less than half of the credits have been used.

What the free plan includes

100 credits per day, up to a total cap set by Genspark: once that cap is reached, the daily refill stops. 1 GB of storage. Enough for a few tries, not for regular use. Downloading presentations as PowerPoint or PDF is reserved for paid plans.

Nova’s advice

Start for free to see whether the results suit you: two or three presentations are enough to judge. Plus makes sense if you produce presentations or spreadsheets every week. If you already pay for ChatGPT or Claude, compare first: they can create files too.

Free or paid: how usage is counted

Every creation spends credits. The free plan gives you 100 per day; paid plans give thousands per month.

What it does less well

  • Does it work? For a first draft of a presentation, a comparison table, or research, yes, and it’s fast. But the result is still a draft: layout to rework, wording to fix, numbers to check one by one.
  • Credits go fast. A long task uses a lot of them, and every new attempt is billed at full price, even if the previous one failed.
Have a ten-slide presentation builtGenspark
  1. On the home page, click “AI Slides.”
  2. Leave the setting on “Professional” and choose “Standard”: it’s the fast mode, which costs half the credits.
  3. Paste the prompt below and adapt it to your topic. You can also attach a Word or PDF document.
  4. Watch the outline take shape, then the slides appear one by one.
  5. Click a title or a chart and describe the correction you want. For small touch-ups, use “Advanced Edit”: manual changes cost no credits.
  6. Check every number before presenting. On the free plan, you present from the browser or share a link.

The prompt to copy

Create a 10-slide presentation to introduce our new maintenance service to an industrial client. Structure: the client’s need, our offering, three benefits, how it works, pricing, next steps. Understated, professional tone.
