Write and rephrase
You describe what you need, and it proposes a draft. Then you ask for shorter, firmer, or warmer, as many times as it takes.
ChatGPT is an assistant you write or talk to the way you would a coworker. It drafts, summarizes, searches the web, reads your files, and creates images. Since July 2026, it has three modes: “Chat” for conversation, “Work” for handing it a complete job, and “Codex” for building code.
ChatGPT has a free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Plus, $20 per month. Prices checked on October 5, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
Who it’s for: everyone at the office. It is the first tool to try when you are starting out.
You describe what you need, and it proposes a draft. Then you ask for shorter, firmer, or warmer, as many times as it takes.
You give it a PDF, a Word file, or a spreadsheet. It summarizes it, answers your questions about it, and draws charts from your numbers.
It searches the internet and cites its sources. With deep research, it runs one search after another on its own and delivers a structured report you can export to Word or PDF.
