Search the web and X live
Grok reads the web and posts on the X network at the moment you ask. Its answer draws on what is being said now, not on what it learned a year ago.
Grok is the assistant from SpaceXAI, the American company formerly called xAI. You type to it or talk to it. What sets it apart: it searches the web and posts on the X network (formerly Twitter) live. That makes it useful for following a news topic hour by hour. It also creates images and short videos.
Grok has a free plan. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
Who it’s for: people who follow fast-moving news: marketing, communications, sales, leadership.

A spoken conversation, with near-instant replies. You talk, Grok answers, you keep going.
You describe an image, or provide a reference photo, and Grok creates it. It also produces videos from text, up to 15 seconds.

Stay on the free plan: it’s enough to follow the news now and then. If you already pay for another assistant, don’t add a second one. A Grok subscription only makes sense if live monitoring of X is central to your job.
