What Legora does
Who it’s for: lawyers and in-house counsel whose organization has a Legora contract, especially for reviewing contracts in volume and negotiating in Word.
“Tabular Review”: a batch of contracts organized in a table
Legora reads each document in a batch and fills in a table: one row per document, one column per point to extract. Each cell opens to show the reasoning and the original passage. The team can mark a cell as reviewed (“Mark as Reviewed”) or lock it (“Lock Cells”).
The “Agent”: work carried through from start to finish
You describe the result you expect. The Agent proposes a plan, runs the steps itself (research, reading, drafting, review), checks whether it has reached the goal, and starts over if needed. It puts the result in your folder, as a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file, for review.
Legora in Word: review and negotiate a contract
Without leaving the document, you have a clause drafted, a text reviewed, or the risks flagged. “Playbooks” are your organization’s rules: opening position, non-negotiable points, fallback options. Legora applies them to the open contract and suggests the changes.
Also
“Legal Research”: searching legal sources
“Workflows”: ready-made tasks
“Editor”: draft together, then export to Word
“Monitors”: regulatory tracking
“Portal”: a space shared with the client

Nova’s advice
Legora isn’t something you get as an individual: the decision belongs to the firm or the legal department. If your organization already has it, ask for access and start with the Word add-in. Otherwise, for an occasional need in French law, a French legal research tool or a well-supervised general-purpose assistant is often enough.

Your data. Legora is a Swedish company, subject to GDPR, that commits to not using your data to train AI.
What it does less well
No individual access, no free trial, no public pricing. If your organization has no contract, you can’t try it.
For French law, the only source cited on the site is the Cour de cassation. Statutory codes, laws, and appeals court decisions are not on the published list: check in a French legal database.
Have a contract summarized, with a citation to each clauseLegora
Open Legora in your browser and start a new request to the Agent.
Attach a contract as a PDF or Word file. Choose a document you know well, so you can judge the result.
Paste the prompt below and send it.
The Agent first says how it plans to go about it. Read that plan: this is the moment to correct a misunderstood request.
In the answer, open each citation: the passage from the contract is displayed. Check that it really says what the summary claims.
The prompt to copy
Summarize this contract in ten points: parties, purpose, term, price, termination conditions, penalties, liability, confidentiality, governing law, unusual points. For each point, state the clause the information comes from.
Organization contract: custom pricing. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
