Chat beside the open page
The panel opens on the side. You choose the assistant that answers, and the “Read this page” option has it read the open page or YouTube video. You can also attach a file, an image, or a screenshot.
Sider is an extension for Chrome and Edge. It opens a panel beside the page you are reading. There you chat with several well-known assistants (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek) and have them read the page, a PDF, or a YouTube video. Sider translates, proofreads, helps you write, and creates images. It is also available on the web, on desktop, and on phone.
Sider has a free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Free, €0. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
Who it’s for: people who read, search, and write in their browser all day, and who want to compare several assistants without stacking up subscriptions.

You mention one or more assistants in the same conversation. Each one answers the same question, and you compare the answers side by side.
“ChatPDF” summarizes, translates, and answers your questions about a PDF document. On YouTube, Sider offers a summary of the video and captions in two languages.

Start for free: summarizing and translating a few pages a day doesn’t require a subscription. If you already pay for ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, Sider partly duplicates them. The Basic plan is only worth it if you want several assistants for the price of one.
