A chat panel on every page
The panel opens next to the page you are reading. You choose which assistant answers: GPT, Claude, Gemini, and others. You don’t need a separate subscription with each one.
Monica is an extension for Chrome and Edge. It adds a panel to the side of your browser. In that panel, you chat with several well-known assistants (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Mistral) without switching tabs. Monica summarizes the open page, translates, helps you draft a reply, and creates images. It also comes as a desktop app and a phone app.
Monica has a free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Free, €0. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
Who it’s for: people who spend their day in the browser: reading articles, answering emails, looking things up, translating a page.

Monica reads the open page, a PDF, an image, or a screenshot, then gives you the key points. For a YouTube video, the summary lists the key moments with their timestamps.
The “Write” feature has two modes: “Compose” to write a text, “Reply” to answer a message. You set the length, format, tone, and language. A small writing icon also appears in the text fields of websites.

40 basic queries per day, reset every day at midnight (UTC). No advanced queries, so no access to the most capable assistants or to image creation. Three connected devices at most.
Stay on the free plan: 40 queries per day are enough to summarize, translate, and rephrase. Only pay if you hit that limit several days in a row. If you already subscribe to an assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, Monica partly duplicates it.
