Zaps: a trigger, then actions
You choose the event that starts things off, for example a new email or an added row. You then choose what Zapier should do in your other apps. Once published, the Zap runs every time.
Zapier connects your apps so they hand work to each other without you. You create a rule, called a “Zap”: an event triggers it, then one or more actions follow. For example, when a form is filled out, Zapier adds a row to your spreadsheet and sends an email.
Zapier has a free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Free, €0. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
Who it’s for: anyone who wants a simple first automation, without learning anything technical.

You write what you want in plain language. Copilot builds the steps or guides you. As long as you’re building and testing with it, you use no tasks.
“Templates” are Zaps already assembled, with the trigger and the action. You click, connect your accounts, and it’s ready.
