Chat with your tabs
You ask a question and point to the tabs to read with @. The list offers your open tabs first, then your history and bookmarks. You can also attach an image or a PDF.
Dia is a web browser for Mac, created by The Browser Company, the team behind the Arc browser. It includes a chat with an AI assistant that reads the tabs you show it and, if you connect them, your work tools: Slack, Gmail, Notion, Google Calendar. From these it produces answers, a morning briefing, reports, and presentations.
Dia has a free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Better Answers, $20 per month. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
Who it’s for: people who work on a Mac, spend all day in online tools, and lose time piecing together scattered information.

Once connected, Slack, Gmail, Notion, Outlook, Google Calendar, GitHub, or Figma become sources. Dia searches them to answer, without you opening each tool.
Every morning, Dia gathers your calendar, your inbox, and the important links. It flags emails waiting for a reply and what you missed the day before.

Prices are published in dollars. Usage is counted in “Tasks”: a simple request uses a fraction of one, a complex request more, and the quota resets every month. Credit blocks of $20 can be added. Paid plans apply to new users since August 17, 2026; existing users keep their access and will be notified 30 days before any change. Recorded on October 3, 2026.
| Plan | Price | Who it’s for |
|---|---|---|
| Better Browser | $0 | A polished browser, without AI |
| Better Answers Recommended to start | $20 per month | Asking questions about your pages and tools |
| Better Days | $100 per month | Making Dia your main workspace |
| Enterprise | Custom pricing | Organizations that want custom security guarantees |
The browser alone is free: profiles, tab groups, split view, ad and tracker blocker, sync. This plan includes no AI features. New users get a 14-day trial of the most complete plan, no credit card required.
Use the 14-day trial to see whether querying your tabs and tools really helps you. If so, “Better Answers” is enough to begin. At $100 per month, “Better Days” is only worth it if the morning briefing and the reports help you every day. And if you only want a good browser, the free plan is enough.
Your data. Your chats, your history, and your bookmarks stay encrypted on your Mac. When you ask a question, the relevant content goes to an outside AI, which is not allowed to keep it.
