What Odoo does
Who it’s for: companies that want a single piece of software for sales, purchasing, inventory, and accounting, and the employees who already work in it.
Draft and rewrite in the editor
In a text field, the AI writes a first draft from your request. On selected text, it makes it clearer, shorter, more professional, or fixes mistakes.
Read vendor bills
You upload a bill as a PDF, or forward it to a dedicated email address. Odoo creates a draft with the vendor, the reference, the dates, the lines, the taxes, and the total. You review and confirm.

As an employee, you have nothing to pay: the company subscribes. For a small organization, start with the free app and see whether it is enough. Move to Standard when you need a second app. Only take Custom if you have a real need for customization.

What it does less well
- The standard assistant changes nothing: it summarizes, drafts, opens a view. It does not create quotes or correct a record for you, unless an administrator has set up an agent for that.
- When it cannot do something, the assistant simply says it can’t, without explaining why. Rephrase your request with more context.
