Writer is an AI platform for companies. You describe a job to its agent, “WRITER Agent”: it draws up a plan, searches your apps and documents, then delivers a finished piece of work (document, spreadsheet, presentation). The company stores its tone, rules, and ways of working there, so everyone reuses them.
Writer has no free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Starter, price not shown, per user, billed monthly or yearly. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.

What Writer does
Who it’s for: companies that want the same agent, the same tone, and the same rules in every department: marketing, sales, HR, finance.
The agent that delivers finished work
You describe the result you want. “WRITER Agent” breaks the work into steps, searches the web or your files, then produces a real file: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or web page. It can also read an image and transcribe an audio or video file.
Playbooks: a method saved once, rerun anytime
A playbook is a way of working saved step by step. You describe the task once, and Writer turns it into a plan that you correct. After that, anyone reruns it by filling in a few fields. It can also start by itself, at a set time.
Connectors: the agent works in your apps
You connect Writer to your tools: Gmail, Google Drive, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, Asana, Jira. The agent can read, write, or delete there, depending on the permissions you grant it, one by one.
Also
Voice: your tone, applied everywhere
Presentations in your brand style
Search the company’s documents
Meeting notes, then the follow-up work
The Chrome extension: corrections and writing rules
Writer pricing
The plans page we read shows no amount for Starter: we were unable to record its price. Payment by credit card only. A 20% discount is announced for nonprofits and education. When a subscription ends, the data tied to paid features is lost.

Nova’s advice
Writer is a company-level decision, not one for a single employee. Run the 14-day trial with two or three people, on a real task that comes back every week. If you’re only looking for an assistant for yourself, a general-purpose tool will cost less and be simpler.
A first try, in 10 minutes
Your data. Writer commits to never training its AI models on what you give it or on what it produces, but data may be stored in the United States.
What it does less well
The interface is in English only.
Several access points were shut down in 2026: the Outlook add-in on July 31, the Mac and Windows apps and the Edge extension on September 30. Writer now points to the agent on the web.
Have a memo for the committee prepared from an exportWriter
On the Writer home screen, click in the input field. To start from scratch, click “New session.”
Drag your file into the box, or click the + icon to choose it. Use an export with no personal data.
Paste the prompt below and submit. The agent shows its plan: read it before you let it proceed.
The steps get checked off one by one. If the agent asks you a question, answer it in the conversation.
The document appears on the right, in the “Deliverables” tab. Open it, then download it.
Check every figure in the memo against your export before you pass it on.
The prompt to copy
From the attached file (export of the quarter’s sales), prepare a one-page memo for the executive committee. Give three highlights, two warning signs, and one recommendation. Quote the exact figures from the file. Deliver a Word document, in English, with short sentences.
Starter: price not shown, per user, billed monthly or yearly; Enterprise: custom pricing. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
