Create an image with text in it
You describe the image and put the words to write in quotes. Ideogram places them in the image with a real layout: title, subtitle, label. Short titles give the best results.
Ideogram is a site that makes images from a written description. Its specialty: writing words correctly in the image, where other tools often produce distorted letters. You describe a poster, a logo, or a banner with its title, and you get several options to edit.
Ideogram has a free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Free, $0. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
Who it’s for: people who need a visual with words on it: marketing, internal communications, HR, sales.

In the “Studio” editor, the “Layerize text” button turns the words in the image into text boxes you can retype, move, or restyle. “AI edit” applies a change you describe in one sentence.
“Select area” lets you paint over an area and describe what should replace it: the rest stays put. “Extend” enlarges the image when you drag its edges. “Reframe” changes the format, for example from square to 16:9.
