What Shopify does
Who it’s for: small businesses that sell products online or in a store, and the people who run the store day to day.
Write the store’s copy
AI writes a product description, an email subject line, a blog post, or page copy from a few keywords. You pick a tone: expert, playful, sophisticated, persuasive, or supportive.
Edit product photos
You replace a photo’s background with a solid color or a transparent background, describe a new setting, or expand the image around the product. A photo taken on a phone becomes presentable.

Shopify pricing
There is no lasting free plan. After the trial, Shopify advertises $1 per month for 3 months. Prices checked in US dollars on October 3, 2026; depending on your country, Shopify may show an amount in euros (the French App Store listing advertises €1 per month for 3 months).

Use the 3-day trial to create a product and test Sidekick. If you’re launching a small store on your own, choose “Basic”: AI is already included. Move to “Grow” the day a colleague needs their own account. Also count the fees taken on each sale, on top of the subscription.
