Ask a question about the team’s work
Brain answers from the tasks, documents, and conversations kept in ClickUp. You can also attach up to ten files to your question, and choose among several AI models: Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
ClickUp is project management software: tasks, deadlines, documents, and team chat in one place. ClickUp Brain is its assistant. Because it has access to everything the team keeps there, it answers questions such as “Where does this project stand?” It also summarizes a discussion, writes meeting notes, and creates the tasks. It is a paid add-on, on top of the subscription.
ClickUp (ClickUp Brain) has a free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Free Forever, $0. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
Who it’s for: Teams that already manage their projects in ClickUp. If your company doesn’t use it, the assistant alone is no reason to switch tools.

In a task, document, comment, or message, the assistant improves a text, shortens it, simplifies it, translates it, or pulls out a list of action items. You replace the text, or insert the result below it.
Once they are connected, Brain also searches Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, Dropbox, Gmail, Slack, Teams, Jira, or Salesforce. One question to find a file, wherever it is. Notion is not supported.

If your company already uses ClickUp, start with the assistant’s free trial, then ask your admin for the Brain AI add-on if you use it every week. Everything AI is only worth it if you want meeting note-taking in ClickUp. If your team is not in ClickUp, a general-purpose assistant will do.
