A link that shows your free slots
You create an event type with its duration and location. Calendly reads your calendar and shows only the slots that are truly free. The person chooses, and the meeting is added on both sides.
Calendly is a scheduling tool. You set your availability once, then send a link: the other person picks a free slot, and the meeting lands in both calendars. On the AI side: “Notetaker” writes up your meetings, “Callie” sets up a meeting by email for you, and a connector lets you run Calendly from Claude or ChatGPT.
Calendly has a free plan. The recommended plan to start with: Free, $0. Prices checked on October 3, 2026 on the vendor’s official page.
Who it’s for: anyone who sets up meetings with outside contacts: sales reps, recruiters, consultants, customer success teams.
You create an event type with its duration and location. Calendly reads your calendar and shows only the slots that are truly free. The person chooses, and the meeting is added on both sides.
Calendly sends an email or a text message before the meeting, to prevent no-shows, and a message afterward, to say thanks or ask for feedback. You start from a ready-made template or write your own.
For a group meeting, you propose a few slots. Everyone votes for the ones that suit them. You then book the slot that brings together the most people.
